Sophie was an amazing Pug who touched the hearts of everyone she met. She was family — my best friend, constant companion, and a source of unconditional love. Her sweet disposition, wagging tail, and playful nature brought smiles to everyone around her.
When Sophie was 7½ years old, she was diagnosed with a rapidly progressing liver disease. It was then that I began researching dog food and its effects, that’s when I decided to switch her to an all-natural diet to help her feel better and, ultimately, heal.
The new food that Sophie was eating not only made her feel better it also seemed to have completely reversed the disease's progress. Her veterinarian was so surprised at how much her health had improved in such a short time that she believed she had made a full recovery.
In 2020, while deciding how to celebrate Sophieʼs 13th birthday, I was having trouble finding an edible, soft, healthy treat for her special occasion. I decided to use my baking skills to create the perfect, healthy, all-natural, gourmet cupcake for her. She loved it so much and the results met with such enthusiasm; I wanted to make them available everywhere and Sophie’s Sweet Cakes was born.
